New Delhi: Calling AAP government's maiden budget "historic", Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said it is for everyone - women, students, the aged and the industrialists.
"This is the budget of the aam aadmi. The hopes and dreams with which people voted for us, this budget will look to fulfil those wishes. This is the budget for the poor and the middle class," Kejriwal said after the budget was tabled by his Deputy Manish Sisodia in the Assembly here.
The Chief Minister also took potshots at BJP, saying there are certain political parties that say they will bring back black money, before the elections; but after voted to power, makes us do yoga instead.
"They say that they will rid the country of inflation before polls, and after polls say, they do Swachh Bharat. However, we have delivered on every promise what we made," he said.
According to him, the city's government has invested in people in terms of inceasing budget for education and health sectors due to which Delhi will become a better city.
