Imphal: An all-party meet here today decided to send a delegation, headed by Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh, to meet the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister to discuss Manipur's territorial issues.
The all-party meeting was held this evening at chief minister residence, Manipur Aam Aadmi Party convenor Thoudam Manihar, who attended the meeting, told PTI.
The meeting, which was chaired by CM, passed three resolutions including sending a delegation of all political parties of Manipur to be led by Singh, to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to urge them to protect the territorial integrity of Manipur, Manihar said.
The chief minister also informed the participants that a bill on implementation of inner line permit system in Manipur to protect the indigenous people of the state would be presented in the state Assembly within four or five days, he added.
