Faridabad: All India Akhil Bhartiya Kshatriya Maha Sabha today termed as "bundles of lies" the entire episode of the burning of a Dalit family in Sonped village here and appealed for an unbiased investigation.
Addressing a press conference at Ballabhgarh, the organisation claimed that the upper caste family in question was "being framed" in the incident.
The women from the family, who were also present, said that the Dalit family was acting against them as a year-old-case between the families had neared its end and was "in favour of the upper caste family."
“It is for this reason that the victim family is conspiring against us. We have full faith in the government and administration and the truth shall come out by an unbiased investigation,” they said.
Two-and-a-half-years-old Vaibhav and 11-month-old Divya died after the assailants allegedly poured petrol through one of the windows of their house in Sanped village here on the intervening night of October 19-20.
While the children perished in the blaze allegedly set off by some upper caste people who had a running feud with the Dalit family, their mother Rekha, 28, suffered serious burns and is battling for life in a Delhi hospital. Their father Jitender, 31, also received injuries while trying to save them.
