Bhubaneswar: Running of trains on the Howrah- Vishakhapatnam route has been restored after cyclone Phailin passed coastal AP and Odisha on Sunday morning.

Running of trains from Khurda Road station to Palasa and Vishakhaptnam was restored today.

Train services on Howrah-Puri section was resumed on Sunday itself.

With the restoration of service on the entire route, train services have resumed to the southern states and from Mumbai to Bhubaneswar, a spokesman said.
