Saharanpur: Curfew will be relaxed in the violence-hit Saharanpur district for ten hours on Saturday.
District Magistrate Sandhya Tiwari said the curfew will be relaxed from 9 am to 7 pm in all police station areas on Saturday.
Tiwari said the situation was normal in the district on Friday.
Curfew was clamped on last Saturday in the wake of clashes between two communities over a land dispute in which three persons were killed and 34 injured. 165 shops and handcarts and 42 vehicles were set ablaze in the violence.
