Jaipur, Aug 16: Curfew continued for the second consecutive day today in Krishnganj village of Sirohi district following a clash over a trivial matter even as additional forces were deployed in the area, police said.
The situation is under control and additional forces have been deployed in the town as well as other places in the district as a precautionary measure, they said.
Curfew in Krishnganj village is in force whereas section 144 of CrPC has been imposed in the entire district, police said.
Six persons were injured in a clash in the village of the Anadara town over a trivial matter which occured during a football match and soon the atmosphere got communally surcharged.
The police have detained over a dozen people last night in connection with the clash.
