Kerala has confirmed three more cases of the deadly novel coronavirus, taking the toll in the state to 24. Giving out the latest information, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said a total of 12,740 are under observation, of which 12,470 are under home quarantine while 270 are hospitalized.
While two people tested positive in Malappuram, one positive case was from Kasaragod district, Vijiyan told reporters after presiding over a meeting to review the virus situation and an all-party meeting.
All political parties extended their cooperation and willingness to work together to combat the coronavirus threat, the chief minister added.
At least 72 people were admitted to various hospitals on Monday.
