New Delhi: Delhiites had a tough time on Monday morning as almost 80 per cent contractual drivers, conductors of DTC went on a strike.
Registering their protest against non regularization of their jobs, the striking members reached Millennium Park Depot and sat on a dharna in its lawns.
Earlier, a section of DTC drivers and conductors, employed on contractual basis, reached Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence on Dec 29 to press for their demand to make them permanent employees of the city's main public transport operator.
