New Delhi: A high voltage drama was seen at the Constitution Club in Delhi on Wednesday while Arvind Kejriwal was addressing media on the completion of one month of his government.
During Kejriwal's press conference, Congress MLA Mohd Asif created pandemonium at the venue demanding SIT probe into Batla House encounter.
Interrupting Kejriwal, he accused the activist-turned-politician of making a fool of the country.
Khan started shouting when the Chief Minister was speaking about fulfilling promises made by AAP, including a special probe into the 1984 anti-Sikh riots after the assassination of then prime minister Indira Gandh by her Sikh bodyguards.
He claimed that he was making false promises.
“They have betrayed Delhi. The Congress should withdraw support," Khan was heard shouting.
The MLA demanded a probe by a Special Investigation Team into the 2008 killing of suspected terrorists by the Delhi Police in Batla House, claiming that it had been promised in the AAP manifesto for Delhi polls.
