Madhepura, Mar 2 : A Congress leader in Bihar's Madhepura district today held a yagna to remove obstacles in the marriage of Rahul Gandhi and ensure the party's victory in the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls.
On the seven-day yagna Vishnudev Prasad Yadav, a Nagar Parishad member, said the ritual was being conducted to seek divine intervention for Gandhi, one of the most eligible bachelors in the country, with a most suitable bride as well as the party's victory in the UP assembly polls.
The event for Gandhi's marriage has attracted interest among the local people with a large number of them arriving at Yadav's village to witness it.
