New Delhi: Call letters for personality test will not be sent by post to the candidates who have cleared the civil services (main) examination, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has said.

"Candidates who have qualified for the personality test of civil services (main) examination, 2014 are advised to download their e-summon letter and its attachments for the personality test. No summon letter is being sent by post," it said.

The civil services examination is conducted annually by the UPSC to select officers for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) among others. The examination is conducted in three stages preliminary, main and personality test.

The results of civil services (main) examination, 2014 were declared on April 12.

"The qualified candidates who are unable to download their e-summon letters from the Commission's website at least five days before the commencement of the said personality test or interview should immediately contact the Office of the Commission," it said.

The personality test is likely to commence on Monday. The candidates will be required to produce the original certificates in support of their claims pertaining to age, educational qualifications, community, physical handicap and other documents such as questionnaire, attestation form and TA form, etc. at the time of their personality test, the UPSC said.

The formats of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class and Physically Handicapped certificates and questionnaire, attestation form and TA Form, etc. can be downloaded from the website of the Commission. They are, therefore, advised to keep the said documents ready with them, it said.

"No request for change in the date and time of the personality test, intimated to the candidates, will be entertained," the UPSC said.
