I am happy to inform that today there is no coronavirus in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh is the state with the highest number of tests and the highest number of vaccinations in the country. So far we have given 10 crore 40 lakh vaccine doses. It is our endeavor to give the first dose of the vaccine to everyone above the age of 18 during the next 3 months. It is a protective shield, and the next 3 months are extremely important as festivals are approaching. In this, the discipline of the government will have to be obeyed. You have to follow the guidelines of Corona for yourself, for your family and for your society, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said.

The oxygen crisis was not only within Uttar Pradesh or India. When America, the world's richest country, also came under the grip of the second wave, there was an oxygen crisis there too. India has a population of 135 crores and Uttar Pradesh is running with a population of 24 crores. Still we have to accept the fact that we were supplying 700 metric tonnes of oxygen to the public and even in 1100 metric tonnes, the Delhi government was not able to provide oxygen to its people, CM Adityanath said.

I myself got infected with Corona. There was a curiosity in me because there was a huge difference between media reports and when I took reports from districts and villages. I said that I don't have to trust anyone and go into the field. As soon as my report came negative on April 30, I entered the field, CM Yogi Adityanath said.

A common farmer was, is and will be with the Bharatiya Janata Party. There should be no doubt about it. Those who are politically motivated, who have their own vested interests, whose pockets are being filled up, who consider themselves experts in the direction of spreading disorder, nothing is going to happen with statements of these people, CM Yogi Adityanath said.

In the Panchayat elections, in 67 out of 75 districts, the District Panchayat President is of Bharatiya Janata Party. BJP workers have won more than 650 seats in the election of block chief in 826 development blocks. In the 2019 elections, the people rejected the Grand Alliance. People have shown their thinking in every election, said CM Adityanath.

Responding to Akhilesh Yadav's remark that most highways in the state were made during Samajwadi Party's government, Yogi Adityanath said, "leaders like Akhilesh Yadav wake up at 12 o'clock. After this they are ready by 2 o'clock then they take lunch with his friend circle, to play cricket. After this, in the evening, take a bicycle and go out in the park. They do not have the time to read or write anything. That is why they have no knowledge of the ground reality and every citizen of the state also knows it."

On March 19, 2017, as soon as I took the oath, by evening a file reached to me informing that 24 hours electricity has been given to Gorakhpur. I asked officials what about the 74 remaining districts in the state? The official said that sir, this has been happening for a long then I replied this is what we have to change.

I asked officials to ensure that equal distribution of electricity in all 75 districts not just to Gorakhpur.

Gorakhpur will get as much electricity as other districts in the state are getting, Adityanath said.

Speaking on high electricity charges in UP, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, "we give cheap electricity to the general consumers within Uttar Pradesh. At present we give electricity at Rs 7 per unit. We give Rs 3 per unit to the general consumer and Re 1 per unit to the farmer."

Saraswati Shishu Mandir runs under the patronage of a non-governmental organization that does not take any grant from the government. Saraswati Shishu Mandir runs with the cooperation of the society. Their curriculum is not different from the government's curriculum, CM Yogi Adityanath said.

The law of love jihad was a necessity for the state. We have made it according to our promise to provide a fear-free environment inside the state, CM Yogi Adityanath said.

"We will not allow anyone to misuse the law, and will guarantee security to every person within the ambit of this law," Yogi Adityanath said.

Everyone has the freedom of worship, but if you convert someone by taking advantage of his compulsion, then it will not be acceptable in Uttar Pradesh. The High Court of Kerala had mentioned love jihad in 2009. A similar order was issued in Karnataka also. We cannot separate ourselves from the truth. There were many instances where fraudulently marrying themselves as belonging to another religion and later left destitute or murdered. We have identified about 100 such cases, made laws and fought for it in court, said Yogi Adityanath.

Madrasas should not restrict their education to Maulana, Malawi but teach students to become someone like Abul Kalam Azad. The government is working to modernise madrasas so that children pursuing education there should not just restrict to Maulana and Malawi.

In Uttar Pradesh, Muslims constitute 19 per cent of the population while participation in government schemes is 35 per cent. Muslims have benefited a lot from government schemes. Muslims have also got houses and ration in UP. We don't work by looking at someone's religion, caste or face, said Yogi Adityanath.

Responding to allegations that his government was sidelining Muslims, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said they have been benefitted with government policies in the state. 

Explaining one of his recent remarks where Yogi Adityanath used the term 'abba jaan', the Chief Minister said that he meant beware from some leaders who use Muslim votes.

Speaking about recent political development in Punjab Congress, Yogi Adityanath said Captain Amarinder Singh is one leader who revived the Congress party in the state. No one will accept and tolerate such an insult the way the Congress party treated him. 

Lauding his government, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said not even a single riot took place in the state in 4.5 years under his regime.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke on the law and order situation in the state saying criminals, mafias are scared here. The state has the highest population but is at the lowest position in terms of crime against women.

On being asked will Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) support BJP if the need arises in next year's UP assembly elections, Satish Misra outrighly rejected this possibility saying that they won't do it at any cost. They are fighting against the BJP. 

Unemployment is at its peak in Uttar Pradesh, alleged BSP National Secretary Satish Chandra Misra saying zero development work has been done in Uttar Pradesh. 

Satish Chandra Misra cornered the Yogi government over fake encounters in the state saying that the administration here is a threat to Brahmins.

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) National Secretary Satish Chandra Misra says people have seen the government of all three major parties in the state in the past 15 years such as BSP, SP and BJP and now they have made their mind to bring back Mayawati.

Congress leader Naseemuddin Siddiqui urged politicians not to divide the country into temples and mosques. The Yogi government do not listen to the grievances of the farmers. He also said that there is no law and order in the state.

Samajwadi Party national spokesperson Abdul Hafiz Gandhi slammed the Yogi government that it is trying to police peoples' private life saying it is an individual's decision whom to marry or not.

Hitting out at the BJP, Samajwadi Party (SP) spokesperson Abdul Hafiz Gandhi alleged that BJP does not give tickets to Muslims. 

Minister of State (Uttar Pradesh), Minority Welfare, Muslim Waqf & Hajj, Mohsiz Raza said the entire opposition has united because they know that they cannot defeat the BJP.

To a question about Madani's statement that Muslims in Uttar Pradesh live in fear, Maurya said that there is no need to fear because the government is equal for everyone. Definitely, the goons need to fear and the government has acted against them with an iron hand.  

Maurya said that farmers today get money directly into their accounts. The BJP government has managed to fix the leaks. Corruption was rampant in the previous regimes whereas today people get the benefits of schemes directly.

On caste-based Census, Maura said that definitely this will be done "when time comes". Notably, the opposition parties have been pressing the Centre for a caste-based Census in the country. 

Society believes that the BJP works on the principle of 'sabka sath sabka vishwas'. He said that the ones who opened fire at Ram Sevaks are today visiting temples. There was a time when people had to pay bribes to get a job, but the BJP has managed to end this. 

Maurya defended the recent Cabinet expansion, saying the BJP takes every section along. He said that Akhilesh Yadav has no right to question the appointment of new ministers. He said that Akhilesh Yadav had got a chance to give representation to people from the backward class in the government, but he didn't.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has exuded confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will repeat 2017 success in the state in the next year's Assembly polls. In 2017, we said "300 paar" (more than 300). This time again, we are saying (300 paar). 

BJP MLA Pankaj Singh claimed that the party will win 350 seats in the next year's assembly polls. The saffron party had in 2017 Assembly polls stormed to power with a brute majority. The party won 312 of the 403 seats. Buoyed by the 2019 general elections results when the party won 62 of 80 parliamentary seats, 9 less than its 2014 tally, the saffron party is hopeful of a return in the next year's poll. The country's most populous state will go to the polls early next year. The term of the current Legislative Assembly expires in March 2022.

Samajwadi Party leader Arvind said that the BJP is jittered with the growing popularity of Akhilesh Yadav in Uttar Pradesh. He said that BJP ministers are unhappy and some BJP leaders are today protesting against the party leadership. People of Uttar Pradesh will teach a lesson to the BJP in the polls. 

BJP leader Pankaj Singh said that Yogi Adityanath takes everyone along and ensures that the benefits of government schemes reach all. Slamming the previous SP and BSP regimes, he said that the governments indulged in appeasement politics as he said that they imposed restrictions on ban Kanwar Yatra and Janmashtami celebrations.  

Samajwadi Party leader and former minister Arvind Kumar claimed that the SP will dethrone the BJP in the upcoming Assembly elections and form the government by winning more than 400 seats. He said that the BJP government has failed to fulfil 2017 elections promises and only making tall claims. 

BJP MLA Pankaj Singh has claimed that Yogi Adityanath's government is bringing investment in the state and generating new jobs. He said that the government is providing free ration to the poor and lauded the government's Covid-19 relief measures.

Mahmood Madani lashed out at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, calling him the most incompetent Chief Minister. He accused him of dividing the society and misusing the state machineries. He also said that lawlessness is prevailing in Uttar Pradesh.  

Madani said that Maulana Kaleem Siddiqui was arrested illegally and promised to fight for justice. Siddiqui was arrested by Uttar Pradesh ATS  for allegedly running the biggest conversion syndicate.

Madani said that 90 per cent of the issues raised today are only for diverting the attention of the public. He said that the objective is to earn the votes. He said that Muslims are the victim of double standard politics, adding that Muslims need to find their leader.

To a question about the Taliban and Afghanistan, Mahmood Madani said India should play a leading role... He also warned that India should not toe the line of the United States. He favoured that India should maintain better ties with Afghanistan.

He described the Adityanath government as an enemy of democracy and went on to say that Muslims today fear donning a Kurta-Pajama and a cap. 

Mahmood Madani said that Muslims' behaviour is one of the reasons behind the forces that divide society. He added that Muslims in Uttar Pradesh are in pain. 

Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind chief Maulana Mahmood Madani said Muslims in the country are being suppressed. He said that there are various factors behind this... "the current political establishment is diverting attention from issues... shifts focus to Muslim. This is not good for the country," he said.

People of Uttar will give a befitting reply to BJP in the upcoming Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, said Akhilesh Yadav, adding that the Samajwadi Party will return to power with a brute majority of 400 seats. 

On Azam Khan, Akhilesh Yadav said that the Rampur MP has been implicated in false cases by the BJP government. Khan is currently lodged in Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur jail and is facing trial in several cases.

To a question about the Cabinet expansion in Uttar Pradesh, he said, "Does representation in the Cabinet solve the issues of the community. Even before the paint dries up for the new minister there will be elections. We demand a caste-based census. And people should get as per their representation and numbers."

Akhilesh Yadav said that the BJP government should listen to the Opposition's demand for a caste-based Census. He said that the BJP was not interested in going for it and promised to get one done in Uttar Pradesh if  Samajwadi Party forms the government. The BJP wants discrimination and this is why it is against caste-based Census.

Akhilesh Yadav claimed that more than 150 MLAs will be denied tickets this time. He said that BJP MLAs are not happy with the functioning of CM Yogi Adityanath.

To a question whether farmer's protest will lead to BJP's defeat, he replied: "Farmers and poor will ensure BJP's defeat. The farm laws are black laws and farmers may become labourers."

Akhilesh said that the BJP didn't fulfil 90% of promises that it had made during the 2017 Assembly polls. He said that the BJP government had promised to double farmers' income, but it failed. Likewise, he said that the government didn't check the rising power tariff.  

Akhilesh Yadav also questioned the printing of PM Narendra Modi's photo on the Covid vaccine certificate. He said that no country, be it the US or Russia, is printing the photo of a state's head on a vaccine certificate. 

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav also lashed out at the BJP government over poor medical facilities in Uttar Pradesh. He said that all medical facilities have been reduced to ashes under Adityanath. He also slammed the government's handling of Covid pandemic.  

Akhilesh Yadav said that the BJP will not return to power in Uttar Pradesh and exuded confidence that the Samajwadi Party will form the next government.

Akhilesh Yadav said that all the electricity that is available in Uttar Pradesh is due to what the Samajwadi Party government had done. "Make Uttar Pradesh as Saifai," he said, adding that "you have a double engine government". Saifai in Etawah district is considered a stronghold of the Samajwadi Party. 

Akhilesh Yadav said that there is no one who can speak the truth under Yogi Adityanath's government. He also saod that NCRB data shows the crime against women has increased. All forms of crime have increased.

SP leader and former Uttar Pradesh CM said that the Adityanath government is spending money on advertisements. "The government claims to be honest... please specify how much you have spent on the Ganga project. Crime is high in Uttar Pradesh. The govt is spending only on advertisements. There is no one who can speak the truth under the Yogi govt," he said.

Congress has also decided to bet on young candidates for the 2022 Assembly elections. The party may give 60 per cent of its tickets to those in the age group of 30 to 40 years. Priyanka is in Lucknow on a five-day visit. 

The Congress in Uttar Pradesh is expected to launch its poll campaign for the 2022 Assembly elections on October 9 with party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra addressing a public rally in Varanasi.

After joining hands before the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, the Congress and the Samajwadi Party (SP) might form an alliance once again before the 2022 Uttar Pradesh polls. The Congress party feels it has strong chance of winning the 2022 Assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh after coming up with a masterstroke in Punjab with Congress Dalit leader Charanjit Singh Channi taking oath as the new Chief Minister. 

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday said the poor are now getting free cooking gas connections, whereas it was "very difficult" to avail LPG connection or refill a cylinder under previous governments.
