New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation on Thursday arrested two persons for allegedly using unfair means during the Civil Services Examination held by Union Public Service Commission. Based on the information, the CBI on Thursday carried out searches at various locations in Delhi.
The sources said that searches are still going on and the agency has recovered bluetooth devices which were allegedly used for facilitating the answers during the examination.
Since the investigations are going on, further details are awaited, they said.
Civil Services Examination, conducted by the UPSC to select IAS, IPS, IFS officers, is conducted in three stages - preliminary, mains and interview.
The sources said they had received the input that these persons were allegedly involved in the cheating racket.
After further developing these inputs, the agency teams cracked down on the racket members.
