Uttar Pradesh: Mobile snatcher arrested after brief gunfight in Noida, search for accomplice underway
A mobile phone snatcher was arrested after a brief gunfight with the Noida Police on Monday (September 30) near the Film City in Sector 16A in Uttar Pradesh, the police said. The criminal was identified as Neeraj, a resident of the city of Sabzi Mandi, Harola Sector 5. The incident occurred while the police were conducting a check near the intersection by DLF Mall.

Delhi: Two labourers dead, two injured after roof of under-construction building collapses in Rohini
Two labourers were killed and two others injured after a portion of an under-construction building collapsed in Delhi on Sunday. Police said the incident happened when the roof of an under-construction building collapsed in the Madanpur Dabas area of Rohini. The labourers were identified as Ram Chander (30) and Raj Kumar (30). They were residents of Bhagya Vihar in Delhi.

Israel strikes Houthi-controlled critical infrastructure in Yemen, four dead
Israel on Sunday said that it bombed power plants and other Houthi targets in Yemen in response to a missile attack by the Iran-aligned militants at Israel over the past two days, marking another front in the Middle East fighting. The latest Israeli strikes against Houthis killed at least four people and wounded 29, the Houthi-run Health Ministry said in a statement. Moreover, the residents said the bombing had caused power outages in most parts of the port city of Hodeidah. It is worth mentioning that Hodeideh is one of the most crucial ports in the Red Sea which Houthis control. Moreover, Houthis used the port and city to target ships and increasing the vulnerability of the sea route, which mounted concerns among the western nations in the past.

Biden says he will speak with Netanyahu over Lebanon airstrikes: 'All-out war in Middle East must be avoided'
US President Joe Biden on Sunday (September 29) said that he believes an all-out war in the Middle East must be avoided and stressed that he would speak with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the subject. “It has to be”, Biden told reporters as he boarded Air Force One for Washington. “We really have to avoid it.” Biden’s remarks came as Israel continued its airstrikes across Lebanon and killed dozens of people on Sunday. The Israeli military have also taken down seven high-ranking Hezbollah militants over the past week in the airstrikes, including its the group’s chief Hassan Nasrallah. The latest incidents have raised fears of a full-blown war in the Middle East, which could potentially involve the likes of Iran.
