    'Injury marks, limbs broken': Victim's aunt on South 24 Parganas rape-murder case

    In the South 24 Parganas rape and murder case, a 10-year-old victim's aunt said that her body had injury marks and her limbs were broken. She also alleged that Police worked irresponsibly otherwise, the victim would be alive.

    Brother of JD(S) MLC B M Farooq and former Congress MLA Mohiuddin Bava missing

    Mumtaz Ali, brother of JD(S) MLC B M Farooq and former Congress MLA Mohiuddin Bava went missing. His car was found near the Kollur bridge.

    Mangaluru Police Commissioner Anupam Agrawal said, "Today early morning we received information that a businessman Mumthaz Ali's vehicle was found near Kulur bridge. He might have jumped from the bridge. Local police reached the spot and started the investigation. As per the preliminary investigation, around 3 o'clock, he left the house in his car and roamed around the city and around 5 o'clock he stopped his car near the Kulur bridge. The car had certain accidental marks and then after that, his daughter informed the local police. Investigation is underway. SDRF and Coast Guard teams are searching the river and trying to find out whether he has jumped in the river or anybody is there or not..."

    UP Police imposes ban on leaves for personnel during festivals

    Fire at industrial estate in Mumbai

    A major fire broke out in a five-storey industrial estate in Mumbai, a fire official said on Sunday. No casualty was reported in the incident which took place on Saturday night, he said, adding the fire was later doused. The blaze erupted at 10.21 pm on Saturday at Bharat Industrial Estate in Sewri area, the official said.
