    The director of Jammu and Kashmir's Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Anand Jain has been posted as the new Inspector General of Police of Jammu region, a government order said on Thursday. He will replace additional director general of Police (ADGP) Mukesh Singh who was recently appointed as the Inspector General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).

    Deoria killings proof of failure of justice system in UP: Akhilesh Yadav

    ISRO gearing up for Gaganyaan mission's first abort test of crew escape system this month-end

    ISRO plans to undertake an inflight abort test of the crew escape system by this month-end using a test vehicle developed as part of the country's ambitious maiden human spaceflight venture Gaganyaan. "Preparations are going on. All vehicle systems have reached Sriharikota (for the launch). Final assembly is progressing.     Teenage girl accuses stepfather of repeatedly raping her

    Police have registered a case against a 35-year-old man from Vashi in Navi Mumbai for allegedly raping his teenage stepdaughter over a period two years, an official said on Thursday. The victim, aged 15 years, approached the police and lodged the complaint at the APMC police station in Vashi on Wednesday, he said.

    The Calcutta High Court on Thursday reserved an order on an appeal by Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee with regard to a summons by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with an alleged teaching jobs scam.     BHEL pays Rs 88 crore final dividend to Government of India for FY23

    State-owned engineering firm BHEL on Thursday said it has paid Rs 88 crore as final dividend to Government of India for fiscal year 2022-23.
