    Days after a case was filed against choreographer Remo D'Souza and his wife Lizelle D'Souza over allegations of fraud, the couple said they will present their case and cooperate with authorities. The case was registered on October 16 in Maharashtra's Thane district against the duo and five others for allegedly cheating a dance troupe of Rs 11. 96 crore, police said on Saturday.

    Terrorists involved in Ganderbal attack won't be spared, says Amit Shah

    Condemning the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Ganderbal district, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said those involved in this heinous act will not be spared and they will face the harshest response from the security forces. A doctor and five labourers were killed in indiscriminate firing by terrorists at a tunnel construction site on the Srinagar-Leh national highway on Sunday, officials said.

    Pak Parliament passes constitutional amendment bill capping chief justice's term

    Pakistan's National Assembly passed the controversial 26th Constitution Amendment Bill, capping the chief justice's tenure for three years, early on Monday following an overnight debate, the country's media reported. During the voting in the 336-member National Assembly, 225 members supported the bill, the Dawn reported. The government needed 224 votes to pass the amendment.

    New Mexico authorities: 2 dead, 309 people rescued after severe flooding in and near Roswell

    The New Mexico National Guard continued search and rescue operations Sunday in Roswell after record rainfall produced severe flooding in and around the city and Chaves County and left at least two people dead. Guard officials said 309 people had been rescued since Saturday, with 38 of those taken to hospitals for treatment of undisclosed injuries. New Mexico State Police said two people died as a result of the flash flood, but information on the victims or the circumstances of their deaths wasn't immediately released.
