    Two IndiGo flights had received a bomb threat, an Indigo spokesperson on Monday said.

    Mumbai-Howrah Mail gets bomb threat, train stopped at Jalgaon station, probe underway

    Indian Railways sources on Monday said its control room received a bomb threat in Mumbai-Howrah Mail, and as a precautionary measure, the train was stopped at Jalgaon station. The Indian Railways said no suspicious object was found inside the train even after proper checking. After it was confirmed that it was a fake call, the train proceeded towards the destination, the Central Railway said.

    New York-bound Air India flight diverted to Delhi following bomb threat

    An Air India flight that took off from Mumbai for New York was diverted to Delhi following a security concern arising from a bomb threat. After the bomb scare, the diverted flight landed at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport. The aircraft is currently stationed at the airport.

    Third 'assassination attempt' on Donald Trump? Police arrest armed man near rally in California

    Amid escalating assassination attempts against the Republican candidate for the US Presidential Elections, Donald Trump, US authorities reported on Sunday (October 13) the arrest of a Nevada man, who was later released the same day on $5,000 bail. A large cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from his possession. The suspect was scheduled to attend the former president's rally in Los Angeles but was stopped by deputies assigned to the location.

    Baba Siddique murder case: NCP leader's son Zeeshan was also a target, what police probe reveals so far

    The police sources said investigating officials suspect that the shooters were instructed to target both NCP leader Baba Siddique and his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique. The NCP leader (66) was shot dead by three assailants at Kher Nagar in Mumbai's Bandra area just outside his son Zeeshan's office on Saturday night. He was rushed to the Lilavati Hospital where he was declared dead. On the day of the incident, Zeeshan left the office minutes before his father's arrival.

    Doctors' body FAIMA calls for nationwide elective services shutdown amid Bengal junior medics' protest

    Amid the ongoing fast-unto-death protest by the junior medics in West Bengal, the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA), a body representing Resident Doctors' Associations (RDAs) across India, called for a nationwide shutdown of elective services in hospitals from Monday.
