Gujarat Assembly election 2022: Former IPS officer DG Vanzara, who was acquitted in the alleged fake encounter care, on Tuesday launched a political party- ‘Praja Vijay Party’ (PVP) based on "Hindutva" ideology. The controversial Ex-IPS official said his party will contest the next month's Assembly elections in Gujarat.

Emirates buys 5 Boeing 777 freighters in USD 1.7 billion-valued deal
Long-hauled carrier Emirates is buying five Boeing 777 freighters in a deal valued at more than USD 1.7 billion, further expanding its cargo flight capacity, the two companies announced on Tuesday. Emirates previously announced a USD 1 billion investment to its cargo flights, including buying two new Boeing 777s and converting 10 Boeing 700-300ER passenger planes into freighter aircraft. The two new aircraft joined Emirates' fleet in 2022, while the conversions are scheduled to begin in 2023.

Karnataka cabinet expansion likely after Gujarat polls, hints CM
Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Tuesday indicated that the expansion of his Cabinet is likely after Gujarat Assembly polls.
Gujarat will go to polls in two phases on December 1 and 5, with the counting of votes on December 8. "Cabinet expansion...I have already spoken.....our leadership is a bit busy with the Gujarat elections, as soon as it is over they will call me (for discussions)," Bommai said in response to a question. -

A 27-year-old pharmacist drowned after a boat carrying a team of health department workers capsized in a river in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district, officials said on Tuesday. The incident took place late Monday evening when the workers were returning after holding a medical camp in the remote Kosalnar village of the district located on the other side of the Indravati river, Bijapur's district programme manager (health department) Sandip Tamrakar said.
