    First phase of AP Panchayat polls on Tuesday

    As many as 2,723 panchayats in Andhra Pradesh are set to go for polls in the first phase on Tuesday. Elections will also be held to elect 20,157 ward
    members, a press release from the Panchayat Raj department said on Monday.

    Polling will begin from 6.30 AM and go on till 3.30 PM while counting of votes will begin at 4 PM. The polls will go on till February 21 in four phases.

    ITBP rescues 12 people, 30 more trapped in different tunnel

    ITBP rescued 12 people from a tunnel yesterday, these 30 are trapped in a different tunnel. The rescue operation is underway in different areas. More teams will be sent there if it is required, we are focussing on rescuing people from the tunnel first, ITBP Spokesperson Vivek Pandey said.

    15 people rescued, 14 bodies recovered: Chamoli Police

    Uttarakhand's Chamoli Police issued a statement, "The operation to rescue the people trapped in a tunnel is underway. Efforts are on to clear the tunnel with the help of JCB machine. A total of 15 people have been rescued and 14 bodies have been recovered from different places so far."

    Uttarakhand: 8 bodies recovered from rescue operation in Tapovan's Dhauliganga

    8 bodies have been recovered from the rescue operation in Tapovan's Dhauliganga, in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. ITBP, Indian Army, SDRF, and NDRF forces are engaged in the retrieval.
