Two held in Noida for selling juice 'contaminated with spit'
Two men were arrested for allegedly selling juice contaminated with their spits here, police said on Sunday. The alleged incident took place on Saturday evening at a juice stall located near Garhi Chaukhandi village in Sector 121 when a local resident, Satish Bhatia, went there to have juice, they said.
"An FIR was lodged at the local phase 3 police station on Sunday morning and later in the day both the accused -- Jamshed (30) and Sonu alias Sahabe Alam -- were taken into police custody," a police spokesperson said.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath meets his mother in AIIMS Rishikesh
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met his mother at AIIMS Rishikesh. He stayed with his mother for about 20 minutes and inquired about her health from the AIIMS director.
CM's mother Savitri Devi (85) has been admitted to AIIMS since June 7 due to eye problems. She is undergoing treatment in the geriatric ward. On Saturday, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami also met Savitri Devi and inquired about her well-being.

Delhi Minister Atishi accuses BJP of conspiring to augment water crisis
During a Press Conference, Delhi Minister Atishi Marlena said that many parts of South Delhi did not receive water this morning because the main pipeline was intentionally broken yesterday. Accusing the BJP of conspiring to augment the water crisis, she said that step one of the conspiracy was asking the Haryana government to not send the water. Step two was breaking water pipelines and disrupting the water supply. Lastly. step three which was revealed today was the BJP sending goons to the Delhi Jal Board office to create ruckus.”

CM Siddaramaiah defends hike in petrol and diesel prices
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Sunday defended the hike in petrol and diesel prices saying that it will ensure funding essential public services and development projects. With the opposition BJP and its ally JD(S) coming down heavily on the Congress government for increasing the petrol and diesel prices by Rs 3 and Rs 3.5 per litre respectively, Siddaramaiah said even after the hike, taxes on fuel remains low compared to most southern states.
