One killed, four injured in landslide in Nepal
One person was killed and four others injured during a landslide in western Nepal on Thursday, police said. The incident happened in Dadeldhura district when rocks with heaps of soil came rolling down from a mountain and hit a group of workers at a bridge construction site.

Centenarian freedom fighter Sudhakar Chaturvedi dead
Centenarian freedom fighter and Vedic scholar Sudhakar Krishna Rao, widely known as Sudhakar Chaturvedi died on Thursday in Bengaluru due to old age-related ailments, one of his disciples said.
Rao, an eye-witness to the Jalianwala Bagh massacre on April 13, 1919, breathed his last at his resident in Jayanagar in Bengaluru, disciple Sudhakar Sharma said.
