Bollywood in real life: Arm tattoo helps son find his mother after 23 years

Mumbai: Ganesh Raghunath Dhangade is a constable in the Mumbai police force. At the age of 6 in 1989 while traveling with his friend in a crowded train, Ganesh went missing and was missing since then.But now he has reunited with his family with the help of his senior police officers and friend.It was after attending the induction session as a constable that he started searching for his family and requested his senior and friend to help him out with this. On October 4 he finally reaches to his mother and reunited with the family.Ganesh and a friend started their search on social networking websites but did not find anything. The they decided to visit the Worli orphanage, from where he came to know that he was find all alone at Mamu Bhanja dargah in Thane.On 4th of October he went to Dargah and asked locals about his mother, Manda, whose name had been tattooed on his hand. They came to know that an old lady by the same name lived on a hill nearby. Ganesh goes to the old lady and shows her his tattoo. The lady recognized the tattoo and went into tears after seeing his lost son.Ganesh went missing 23 years back, after loosing his family he spent some days while cleaning the streets , later a fisherman took him along and used to make him beg on local trains.One day Ganesh met with a train accident, he got hospitalized and because of severe injurious he reamin in coma for a couple of months. Later he was handed over to an orphanage in Worli. Ganesh did his initial education from Anand Ashram and another Orphanage in Thane.He was good at studies and sports thus his higher education was funded by Krida Prabodhini, a state-run programme to encourage talented sportsmen.In 2011 he cleared the Police exam and joined Mumbai Police as a constable.
