Patna: Over 3,500 detonators were recovered Friday in Bihar's Rohtas district, and three people have been arrested, police said.
Rohtas Superintendent of Police Chandan Kumar Kushwaha said a huge quantity of explosives, including 3,550 detonators, 1,791 gelatin sticks and 5 kg ammonium nitrate were recovered.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided a house in Baraiahbag locality near Sasaram, district headquarters, and arrested the three people and recovered explosives.
Gaya is also considered a Maoist stronghold.
