Four children have lost their lives in Bihar's Darbhanga Medical College in the last 24 hours, news agency ANI reported, adding that one among them had tested positive for Covid-19. The three others, however, had tested negative for Covid.
All the kids were experiencing breathlessness and had symptoms like pneumonia, Principal DMCH & Incharge CCU to ANI.
"They were in serious condition. One of them had tested positive for COVID. Others tested negative," the official said.
One of the kids was only 2 and a half months old, and was having trouble breathing. He was earlier recieving treatment in a hospital in Patna. Upon testing positive for COVID-19, his family took him to Darbhanga Medical College (DMCH), where he lost his life.
The other three kids belonged to one family. Two of them were girls and their Covid report had come negative. Doctors cannot confirm that these kids died of Covid, but the kids had symptoms similar to that of Covid 19, one of which was breathlessness.
