Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Education Minister Bosiram Siram has said the state government has taken special initiative to improve the living standard of the workers.
“Our government is making all efforts to address the problems faced by the working community and has taken steps to improve their living standard,” Siram said while addressing the first general conference of All Arunachal Pradesh Labour Union (AAPLU) at Pasighat in East Siang district yesterday.
The minister informed the conference that adequate fund was allotted to the Labour Welfare Board (LWB) for implementation of various welfare schemes such as construction of sanitary toilets, rest-shed etc, official sources said here today.
