Congress candidate Kumar Waii is leading in Arunachal Pradesh's Bameng constituency.

The BJP is all set to retain power in Arunachal Pradesh as the party crossed the halfway mark of 31 seats, by winning 33 so far, and leading on 12. The counting of votes is continuing.

PPA's Nabam Vivek wins from Doimukh seat by defeating BJP's Tana Hali Tara by 2.530 votes.

Celebration began at the BJP office in Itanagar as the party is set to return to power in Arunachal Pradesh.

BJP's Tsering Lhamu won from Lumla constituency by defeating Congress' Jampa Thirnly Kunkhap by 1,531 votes.

BJP's Wanglin Lowangdong won from Borduria-Bogapani by defeating NCP's Jowang Hosai by 1,452 votes.

BJP's Chakat Aboh won from Khonsa (West) by defeating NCP's Yang Sen Matey by 804 votes.

BJP's Wangki Lowang won from Namsang seat by defeating NCP's Ngonglin Boi.

BJP's Tesam Pongte won from Changlang(North) by defeating NPP's Dihom Kitnya by 2,002 votes.

BJP candidate Hamjong Tangha wins Changlang(South) constituency by defeating National People's Party's Timpu Ngemu by 1,482 votes.

Only two seats Bameng and Seppa West are pending in Arunachal Pradesh. No updates so far on these two seats.

"Our commitment to democracy is non-negotiable, and it is essential for everyone to accept the verdict with humility. The people of our state are eager to see the pace of all-round development continue," CM Pema Khandu said on Saturday.

Arunachal Pradesh recorded voter turnout of 82.95 per cent, according to ECI data. The state had gone to Assembly polls on April 19.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) already won 10 seats including Bomdila, Chowkham, Hayuliang, Itanagar, Mukto, Roing, Sagalee, Tali, Taliha and Ziro-Hapoli in the Arunachal Pradesh Assembly without any contest or unopposed.

BJP candidate Hage Appa won the Ziro-Hapoli constituency in Arunachal Pradesh uncontested.

BJP candidate Nyato Dukam won the Taliha constituency in Arunachal Pradesh uncontested.

BJP candidate Jikke Tako won the Tali constituency in Arunachal Pradesh uncontested.

BJP candidate Ratu Techi won the Sagalee constituency in Arunachal Pradesh uncontested.

BJP candidate Mutchu Mithi won the Roing constituency in Arunachal Pradesh uncontested.

BJP candidate Techi Kaso won the Itanagar constituency in Arunachal Pradesh uncontested.

"The counting would be held at all district headquarters. The passes have been issued for all the authorised agents. We expect the final results to be declared by 11.30 am," he said.

The counting of votes on 50 Assembly seats began at 6 am today in Arunachal Pradesh.
