Ahmedabad, Aug 28 : Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today said that the anti-corruption movement headed by Anna Hazare has reinforced confidence in the strength of non-violence.
“The past and the present proves the fact that Non-Violence is in the DNA of Indians,” Modi twitted on the micro-blogging site minutes after Hazare broke his fast on the 13th day of the agitation.
“For many of us who didn't witness the Independence struggle, anti-corruption movement reinforces confidence in the strength of Non-Violence,” he stated on the site.
