New Delhi, July 1: Gandhian activist Anna Hazare will be meeting Congress President Sonia Gandhi tomorrow to explain the stand of the civil society on the issue of the Lokpal Bill ahead of an all-party meeting on it on Sunday.
Hazare has been given appointment at 4 pm tomorrow, sources at Sonia Gandhi's residence said today. Hazare has already said he will try to persuade Sonia Gandhi to bring the office of the Prime Minister under the purview of the Lokpal Bill.
AICC had given indications yesterday that a meeting between Sonia Gandhi and Hazare was expected soon despite differences between the party and the civil society on the issue of the bill.
