Amarnath Yatra: Naive pictures of "Baba Barfani"

New Delhi: Devotees who are planning to go for Amarntah Yatra, that is starting from 28 june this year, certainly have a reason to smile. The search team of Pahalgam Development Authority, which has returned from the “Babba Barfani cave has come up with the naive pictures of the holy “Shiva -Linga” The Shiv-Linga this year again has acquired the proper shape and composed form. Reyaz Ahmad, Pahalgam Development Authority CEO has confirmed about the pictures are original and are of the current year only. The snow clearing work is rapidly going on on the traditional routes of Amarnath Yatra i.e. Phalgam and Baltal. Owing to the massive snowfall and avalanche several resting points, where pilgrims stop during the journey, have been completely destroyed. Since fortnight, the snow clearing team has just able to cleared up the way till “Sheshnaag”. The chairman of Shrine Board and state Governor Shri N N Vohra is himself looking into the all prospects of Amarnath Yatra. An aerial introspection of the Phalgam and Baltal route has also been done by him during the course. Considering the massive snow blocking at various important phases, he has directed all the departments of the authority to clear up the snow as soon as possible. It is after the governor's order only that PDA sent a search team to visit the Baba Barfani cave and introspect the situation. The team has revealed that “Shiv-Linga” is in its complete shape which would certainly attract more pilgrims this year. Reyaz Ahamad says, “Shiv Linga has acquired its complete shape and looks good. We request the pilgrims and devotees to get themselves register. We welcome all.”The unfortunate avalanche on the Phalgam tracks has caused the maximum damage to the whole situation. In order to overcome this loss, the shrine board has issued certain guidelines so that all the work gets completed within the time limit. As a result, massive work force has been deployed to clear the abundance snow on the routes of yatra. Now, it is hoped that shrine board will open both ways of transportation even before the date of commencement of Amarnath Yatra. “We have completed the work within the deadline. Laborers have reached till “sheshnaag” and the further snow-clearing work is going on in full swing,” said Reyaz Ahmad.All the concerned departments have been directed to arrange for the accommodation of the pilgrims and the cleanliness of the area. To make the “Amaranth Yatra” easy and secure for the devotees, the J & K police, CRPF and military have taken the charge already. Apart from tightening security on the national routes and from Lakhanpora to Srinagar, the camps and various sensitive areas have also been provided a strong security cover. The whole effort is done to ensure the utmost safety of the pilgrims and encourage the participation of more and more devotees in the Amarnath Yatra, which is kick starting from 28 june 2014.
