Hitting out at Mayawati government in the wake of an FIR against him for alleged financial fraud, Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh on Monday accused the state authorities of providing jobs to over 100 people close to the chief minister's relatives and partymen in the Greater Noida Development Authority.
"According to Mayawati, those who are not with her are corrupt. But I have documentary evidences that over 100 people close to her, her relatives and partymen were provided with employment at the Greater Noida Development Authority," he told reporters in New Delhi.
He said in the coming days, he would come out with more cases of corruption against the BSP chief.
Singh alleged that people given appointment letters were close to her relatives and her confidante Nasimuddin Siddique. "Most of them have crossed the age limit prescribed. I have information that they also have forged documents," he said.
Singh said officer in-charge of Babupurva police station in Kanpur, where the FIR was lodged against him, too was a corrupt official.
"A CBI court in Lucknow has issued non-bailable warrants against inspector Dinesh Tiwari for allegedly posing as a CBI inspector to mount pressure on people to get land deals settled," he said.
On October 15, one Shiva Kant Tiwari lodged an FIR with Babupurva police station against Singh and his wife accusing them of amalgamating companies allegedly owned or run by them for converting black money into white. PTI
