India on Tuesday said all issues, including India's concerns over terrorism, will be discussed during his talks with Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in July.
"No issues are to be kept aside," External Affairs Minister S M Krishna told journalists accompanying him on his three-day visit to Kazakhstan.
The Minister pointed to the 'Thimphu spirit' when asked about the agenda of his talks with Qureshi on July 15, a reference to the ice-breaking meeting between Prime Ministers Manmohan Singh and Yousuf Raza Gilani on the sideline of SAARC Summit in the Bhutanese capital last month.
"The Thimphu spirit is that we discussed everything and there are no issues that are to be kept aside. I think that is my understanding of the Thimphu spirit. I am sure that Pakistan shares this concern of ours," Krishna said.
Qureshi has invited Krishna to Islamabad as India and Pakistan make efforts to carry forward the peace talks and reduce the "trust deficit" between the two countries.
The decision on the July 15 meeting was taken during a 25-minute telephonic conversation today between Krishna and Qureshi who described their upcoming talks as "an important step forward" in bilateral ties.
Earlier in New Delhi, Krishna said he and Qureshi will work out the methodology to carry forward the dialogue between the two countries so that all outstanding issues could be discussed in an atmosphere of "mutual trust".
On Finland's offer to mediate on Kashmir issue, Krishna said India has any number of times rejected third party mediation.
"When we are talking to Pakistan directly, where is the talk of third party mediation? I am going to Islamabad on July 15. Why do I need third party intervention?" the Minister said. PTI
