Kolkata, Jun 9 : An Air Asia flight bound for Kuala Lumpur made an emergency landing today at Netaji Subhash International airport here soon after take-off after the pilot complained of engine trouble.

There were 144 passengers inside the aircraft and all of them were reported safe.

Fire brigade and ambulance were on alert during the emergency landing procedure.
