Hyderabad, Mar 20: Irked over the "betrayal" by nine rebel MLAs who voted in favour of the no-confidence motion against Kiran Kumar Reddy government last week, Andhra Pradesh Congress Tuesday said it would take disciplinary action against them at "right" time.



"Whoever has betrayed the party, appropriate disciplinary action would be taken against them at the right time," said Primary Education Minister S Sailajanath.
 
As many as nine Congress MLAs, who switched their loyalty to the YSR Congress Party, had voted in favour of the no-trust motion moved by TRS and supported by YSRCP and others against Congress government.

The motion was defeated as the main opposition TDP remained neutral.

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy had indicated that a petition would be submitted to the Assembly Speaker in fifteen days seeking disqualification of those who voted in favour of the no-confidence motion.
