Jaipur: Heads have rolled in police administration following a lapse in security of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's during her recent visit to Sikar district.
Action has been taken against three Rajasthan Police officers yesterday after T Guite, Inspector General Security, found negligence on part of the local police officers, Superintendent of Police Sikar Haider Ali Zaidi said.
Station House Officer (SHO) Reengus police station Dharmveer Janu has been suspended while SHO Khandela Bhagwan Singh has been shunted to Police Lines and Circle Officer Neem ka Thana Shivlal Bairwa has been transferred to Rajasthan Armed Constabulary in Delhi, he said.
Raje's cavalcade was blocked and demonstrations were held against her after some women had gathered at the helipad in Sikar when the Chief Minister was returning from Tapiplya village in the district after attending a condolence programme last Friday.
