New Delhi: The 23-year-old youth who had allegedly shot at his ‘wife', a struggling model, at her residence in South Delhi last week, has been arrested. The accused, identified as Prince Tewatia, was nabbed from Rohini yesterday by a joint team of Special Staff, South East district and Police Stations of Sunlight Colony and Ambedkar Nagar.
“He was also wanted in three cases of attempt to murder in South-East District and South District,” said DCP (southeast) Mandeep Randhawa.
One .32 bore pistol with one cartridge and a car which was used in a case Ambedkar Nagar also recovered from their possession, the DCP added.
Tewatia's associate Jeetesh Pandey (24) has also been arrested.
The young aspiring model Neha Sharma (21) was critically wounded when her ‘husband' allegedly shot at her in her home in Hari Nagar locality of Ashram area in southeast Delhi on Friday night.
The victim was recuperating at Trauma Center of AIIMS. Neha who was earlier based in Mumbai and has appeared in some reality shows during the period, was living with her parents and younger sister at the Hari Nagar house for the past four months.
