Banaskantha(GUJ), Jul 14:The key accused in the shootout in Jodhpur court premises, Manish Vishnoi, was arrested from near Gundri village on Gujarat-Rajasthan border today, police said.
In the Jodhpur court shootout on June 14, Kailash Jakhar, one of the key accused in Bhanwari Devi abduction and murder case, had escaped from police custody after his accomplices opened fire in the court premises and Manish Vishnoi was alleged to be one of them.
Manish was arrested when he, along with his accomplice Omprakash Vishnoi, was going to Rajasthan in a car, district SP Ashok Kumar said, adding Omprakash managed to escape.
“The two were travelling in Bolero car.
The police were on alert and spotted them in the vehicle,” Kumar said adding the car was stolen by the duo.
