AAP MLAs urge Kejriwal to once more form govt in Delhi

New Delhi: After its drubbing in Lok Sabha elections in the national capital, some AAP MLAs today mooted the proposal for the party to once again form the government in Delhi, with support from either

“We accepted all the conditions set by AAP and extended support to it to stop BJP from coming to power. But were forced to withdraw support as they were resorting to unconstitutional means while trying to push through a bill in the Assembly.”

AAP had won 28 seats in its debut Assembly elections in December last year and later formed the government with outside support from Congress.

The government led by Kejriwal resigned after the party's pet project- the Janlokpal Bill- could not be passed due to opposition from BJP and Congress.

This, however, apparently did not go down well with the people of Delhi and led to the party's lacklustre performance in Lok Sabha polls.
