First time ever,President,PM,3 Bollywood Khans attend mega event to celebrate Aap Ki Adalat's 21st anniversary

New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee  and Prime Minister Narendra Modi this evening led the nation's virtual who's who at a glittering event at Delhi's Pragati Maidan this evening to celebrate 21 years of Rajat Sharma's

"I had attended the 100th episode of Aap Ki Adalat show, when Vajpayeeji was the guest", he recalled.

Among other Bollywood stars who attended included Rani Mukerjee, Sonakshi Sinha, Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, Vinod Khanna, Anupam Kher and wife Kirron Kher, Shilpa Shetty with husband Raj Kundra and Hema Malini with daughter Esha Deol.

Almost the entire topline cabinet ministers including Arun Jaitley, Venkaiah Naidu, Suresh Prabhu, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Prakash Javadekar, Smriti Irani, Ram Vilas Paswan, Dharmendra Pradhan and Najma Heptullah attended the glittering event. Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan and former LS Speaker P A Sangma were  also present.

BJP president Amit Shah, and other party leaders including Om Mathur, Shaina NC, C P Thakur, Manoj Tiwari, attended the event.

Senior Congress leaders Kamal Nath, Sachin Pilot, Janardan Dwivedi, Salman Khurshid, Jagdish Tytler, Vijay Bahuguna, Rita Bahuguna, Renuka Chaudhary, Sushil Shinde, R K Dhawan, Dr Karan Singh, Janata Dal-United chief Sharad Yadav, RLD chief Ajit Singh, Amar Singh and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan were also present at the event.

At least two state governors - Keshari Nath Tripathi from West Bengal and Shivraj Patil from Punjab -, two chief ministers Vasundhara Raje from Rajasthan and Shivraj Singh Chouhan from Madhya Pradesh were also present.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Ashok Singhal, yoga guru Swami Ramdev, Muslim cleric Maulana Madni, All India Anti-Terrorism Front chief M S Bitta, veteran leader N D Tiwari, Suresh Kalmadi, tantrik Chandraswamy also attended.  

Anil Ambani, Gautam Adani and Raj Kumar Dhoot were among the captains of industry present at the event.

Other personalities who attended included noted Pakistani ghazal singer Ghulam Ali, singers Himesh Reshmiyya and Udit Narayan,  music director Anu Malik, lyricist Prasoon Joshi, item girl Rakhi Sawant, noted surgeon Naresh trehan, pop singer Daler Mehdi, BJP leader Sakshi Maharaj, firebrand BJP MP Yogi Adityanath, comedian Raju Srivastav, late Pramod Mahajan's son Rahul Mahajan, and social activist Kiran Bedi.
