New Delhi: A new art space opened Monday in a 1940s building in Delhi's Connaught Place, featuring works of 13 artists, including Bharti Kher, Abhishek Hazar and Sudarshan Shetty..
The gallery of Bangalore-based Galleryske will also showcase works of artists like Krishnaraj Chonat, Sheela Gowda, Sakshi Gupta, Prabhavathi Meppayil, Srinivasa Prasad, Sreshta Rit Premnath, Mariam Suhail, Anup Mathew Thomas, Navin Thomas and Avinash Veeraraghavan.
While south Delhi is considered an art hub, with majority of private art galleries situated in this area, mostly in Lado Sarai, the founder of the gallery chose Connaught Place for its avant garde feel.
