Meerut: 91 minor inmates fled from a Bal Sudhar Grah (Children Reformation Home) in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut yesterday night.
A senior police official said that inmates made a rope using clothes and jumped from the window using the same.
The official added that 30 of them have been apprehended and efforts are on to trace the remaining prisoners.
“We have cordoned off the area and hunt to nab the remaining prisoners is on,” an official said.
A total of 155 inmates were in the juvenile home.
