Chandigarh: Nine people, including six students, were killed and five others injured in a collision between a DPS school bus and a mini-truck near Bhiwani on Monday , police said. "The incident happened between Kairoo and Chandwa villages when the Bhiwani DPS school bus, carrying 14 people, collided with the mini-truck," Bhiwani SP Ashwin said.
Six students and three other persons died on the spot, he said, adding that the five injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where they are stated to be serious. The persons killed included a teacher and the driver and cleaner of the bus. PTI
