5,000 families to get land rights in Jharkhand: CM

Ranchi: About 5,000 families will get rights for one acre of land by the end of this month in Jharkhand under the Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said today.

The past picture is so scary that there would not be any strength left to move forward if one ponders over it,” he said.

Jharkhand witnessed nine governments, three stints of central rule and former Chief Minister Madhu Koda and five ministers being charged with corruption cases among others.
