New Delhi: Three more persons were arrested yesterday in NRI youth Anmol Sarna's murder case for allegedly helping his friends in procuring drugs consumed during a party on the night when he was killed in a house in Kalkaji.

This takes the total number of arrests in connection with the incident to nine on charges of murder and consumption of narcotics.

The three persons arrested today—all students—from Noida have been identified as as Bhuvan Sharma, Nehul and Dushyant who have been held under Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

Police are, however, yet to arrest the main supplier of the drug allegedly used in the party at the house of a friend of Anmol in Kalkaji where the NRI youth was killed.

Anmol died on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday after he attended a party at the house at South Park Apartments in Kalkaji.

The three were apprehended today after their details were found on a messaging application. Dushyant is said to be a friend of Madhav Bhandari, one of Anmol's four friends arrested earlier on the charge of comsuming drugs at the party.

Police sources said the arrested persons used to sell drugs in a bid to earn quick money.

Dushyant is reportedly an event manager and has contacts in Singapore, Hong kong and used to buy drugs online.

Bhuwan, Nehul and Dushyant were produced before a Delhi court and were sent to one-day police custody.

The police had sought four days of police remand for Dushyant, saying he is the main seller, who has connection in China also.

A bank account has also been seized, in which huge money flow from abroad is detected, said a source.

The police had said Anmol and his friends—Shivank, Madhav, Ritham Girotra and Pranil Shah—had consumed drugs in Pranil's bedroom.

Surender Bali (40) and Naresh Mishra (60), guards posted at the South Park Apartments, have been arrested under section 302 (murder) of Indian Penal Code for causing grievious head injuries to Sarna with batons after the NRI allegedly created ruckus at duplex house of Pranil Shah.

Shivang, Madhav, Ritham and Pranil, all in their 20s, have been arrested under section 27 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act for consumption of the contraband drug.
