Guwahati: Two low intensity blasts rocked the busy commercial Fancy Bazaar area here this afternoon, injuring two persons.
The blasts took place within seconds of each other around 3.30 p.m., creating panic in the area, police said.
The explosives were kept in a garbage dump near a sweet shop in the Old Jail Road area of the business hub, a police official said.
The injured were admitted to the nearby Mahendra Mohan Choudhury (MMC) Hospital. Forensic experts were examining the area which was cordoned off, the official said.
