New Delhi : Twelve Delhi police officials have been suspended within two days on the charges of dereliction in duty in connection with two separate cases. According to a senior police officer, out of the 12 suspended policemen, five were deputed in Vasant Kunj North police station here while seven were working at Kamla Market police station.
The officer said said five policemen were suspended yesterday after a raid was conducted at a night club which was found operating allegedly without having requisite licenses.
The night club ‘Billionaire' was found violating the guidelines set for pubs and discotheques in the national capital, the officer said, adding it was found open after the permissible time limit of 12.30 am and liquor was being served to customers.
