PM Narendra Modi addressed the National Youth Festival through video conferencing on Friday. Earlier in the day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Greater Noida and took part in the inauguration ceremony of the 22nd National Youth Festival at the Gautam Budha University.
The chief minister had first visited the district on December 23 last year to check security arrangements for PM Modi's visit, breaking the 'Noida jinx'. On December 25, he made a visit to Noida yet again to take part in the inauguration of Metro's Magenta Line.

The festival which commemorates the birth anniversary of youth icon, Swami Vivekananda, is organised by the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, in collaboration with one of the state governments every year.
