"Our ISRO scientists have made us proud yet again. ISRO today created a century in satellite launching. Farmers, fishermen & scientists of the nation will be helped in getting ground details with this success", the PM tweeted.

PM Narendra Modi addressed the National Youth Festival through video conferencing on Friday. Earlier in the day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Greater Noida and took part in the inauguration ceremony of the 22nd National Youth Festival at the Gautam Budha University. 

The chief minister had first visited the district on December 23 last year to check security arrangements for PM Modi's visit, breaking the 'Noida jinx'. On December 25, he made a visit to Noida yet again to take part in the inauguration of Metro's Magenta Line.

11:49 am: PM  Narendra Modi will be inaugurating the youth festival via video conferencing. He is also scheduled to make an address at 12 noon. 

11:48 am: The festival is being held at Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida.

11:45 am: The National Youth Festival in India is an annual gathering of the youth with various competitive activities involved. The festival which commemorates the birth anniversary of youth icon, Swami Vivekananda, is organised by the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, in collaboration with one of the state governments every year.

11:30 am: The festival is organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh government.

11:28 am: The theme of the festival is 'Sankalp Se Siddhi', to capitalise on the demographic dividend of young India, to capture the vibrancy and fresh perspective of youth and to pledge to accomplish the Goal of New India.
