Underlining UP government’s zero tolerance for acts of terrorism, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday clearly said that the terrorists arrested by Maharashtra ATS, who were planning to poison water of river Ganga at the ongoing Kumbh mela in Prayagraj, would have been eliminated had they crossed the state border.
Two days ago, the Maharashtra ATS had arrested 9 ISIS suspects who were planning to poison water of river Ganga as well as food at the Kumbh mela in Uttar Pradesh.
Yogi Adityanath made these remarks in Maharashtra’s capital Mumbai where had arrived to attend UP Day event.
Thanking the Maharashtra ATS, Yogi Adityanath said that the these terrorists would have met different fate had they entered UP.
