A 25-year-old woman was found lying dead inside a flat at Ajnara Homes in Noida Extension.
The woman, is identified as Susheela, was staying with sister and her husband.
The incident took place on Sunday night.
Police said that the girl was original resident of Tappal city in Aligarh district.
She was unmarried and was staying with her sister’s family.
According to police, the woman was alone at the home when the incident took place.
Her sister and husband had gone out.
They found her body in blood when they returned home.
Police have found wound marks around her neck and suspect that it might be due to the stabbing.
The woman had shifted to her sister’s house after she lost her job.
A case has been registered in the incident and investigation is underway.
