The five-day winter session of the Bihar Assembly commenced in Patna on Monday where the second supplementary budget of 2018-19 was expected to be presented. At the outset, Speaker Vijay Kumar Chaudhary urged members to cooperate and allow the house to run smoothly.
The house was adjourned shortly after it met over obituary references to former legislators and BJP MP Bhola Singh.
Bihar Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shravan Kumar said apart from the second supplementary budget of 2018-19, some important bills would also be presented during the session.
Opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Bhai Virender said his party would raise the "failures" of the Nitish Kumar-led government on law and order and scams.
The session would end on November 30.
